Prof. Shigang Chen

University of Florida, USA

IEEE Fellow

Dr. Shigang Chen (sgchen@cise.ufl.edu) is a professor with Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering at University of Florida. He received his B.S. degree in computer science from University of Science and Technology of China in 1993. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1996 and 1999, respectively. After graduation, he had worked with Cisco Systems for three years before joining University of Florida in 2002. His research interests include data streaming, Internet of things, cybersecurity, RFID technologies, intelligent cyber-transportation systems, etc. He published over 200 peer-reviewed journal/conference papers. He received the NSF CAREER Award and several best paper awards. He holds 13 US patents, and many of them were used in software products. He served as an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking and a number of other journals. He served in various chair positions or as committee members for numerous conferences. He held the University of Florida Research Foundation Professorship and the University of Florida Term Professorship. He is a Fellow of IEEE and an ACM Distringuished Scientist.

Prof.Nirwan Ansari

New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA

Nirwan Ansari, Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University, West Lafayette, an M.S.E.E. from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a B.S.E.E. (summa cum laude, with a perfect gpa) from NJIT, Newark, respectively. He is a Fellow of IEEE and a Fellow of National Academy of Inventors.


He authored Green Mobile Networks: A Networking Perspective (2017, Wiley-IEEE) with Tao Han, Media Access Control and Resource Allocation for Next Generation Passive Optical Networks (2013, Springer) with Jingjing Zhang, and Computational Intelligence for Optimization (1997, Springer) wtih Edwin S.H. Hou, and edited Neural Networks in Telecommunications (1994, Springer) with Ben Yuhas. He has also (co-)authored over 700 technical publications, with more than half of them published in widely cited journals and manzines. He has served as a guest editor for numerous special issues on various emerging topics in communications and networking. Currently, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Wireless Communications and has been on the editorial/advisory board of over ten journals. His current research focuses on green communications and networking, cloud/edge computing, drone-assisted networking, and various aspects of broadband networks.

Prof.Rajkumar Buyya

University of Melbourne, Australia

IEEE Fellow

Dr. Rajkumar Buyya is a Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Director of the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft, a spin-off company of the University, commercializing its innovations in Cloud Computing. He has authored over 750 publications and seven text books including "Mastering Cloud Computing" published by McGraw Hill, China Machine Press, and Morgan Kaufmann for Indian, Chinese and international markets respectively. Dr. Buyya is one of the highly cited authors in computer science and software engineering worldwide (h-index=135, g-index=300, 97,000+ citations). "A Scientometric Analysis of Cloud Computing Literature" by German scientists ranked Dr. Buyya as the World's Top-Cited (#1) Author and the World's Most-Productive (#1) Author in Cloud Computing. Dr. Buyya is recognised as Web of Science “Highly Cited Researcher” for four consecutive years since 2016, IEEE Fellow, Scopus Researcher of the Year 2017 with Excellence in Innovative Research Award by Elsevier, and the “Best of the World”, in Computing Systems field, by The Australian 2019 Research Review.


Software technologies for Grid, Cloud, and Fog computing developed under Dr.Buyya's leadership have gained rapid acceptance and are in use at several academic institutions and commercial enterprises in 50 countries around the world. Dr. Buyya has led the establishment and development of key community activities, including serving as foundation Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Scalable Computing and five IEEE/ACM conferences. These contributions and international research leadership of Dr. Buyya are recognized through the award of "2009 IEEE Medal for Excellence in Scalable Computing" from the IEEE Computer Society TCSC. Manjrasoft's Aneka Cloud technology developed under his leadership has received "Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Award". He served as founding Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing. He is currently serving as Editor-in-Chief of Software: Practice and Experience, a long standing journal in the field established ~50 years ago.

Aniruddha Bhattacharjya

Aniruddha Bhattacharjya is a PhD Alumni of Tsinghua University. He was a PhD scholar (Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) holder) in Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology, Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China under supervision of Prof. Xing Li (Present mentor) [ Late Prof. Wang Jing was his mentor]. This PhD work was supported by National Basic Research Program of China (2012CB316006), and National S&T Major Project (2015ZX03002010-002) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 61631013). He got full travel and conference funding from Tsinghua University's School of Information Science and Technology (SIST) and the Key Laboratory of Universal Wireless Communications (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications), Ministry of Education, P.R.China (No.KFKT- 2014101) and National Basic Research Program of China (2012CB316000) to present his paper in Cambridge University, UK. He got full funding for his project from the Key Laboratory of Universal Wireless Communications (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications), Ministry of Education, P.R.China (No.KFKT- 2014101) also. He has 15 years above teaching and research experiences. He has a Chinese Innovation patent granted as on date with Tsinghua University's affiliation and as per the protocol of the university. He is Senior member of IEEE. He is the Founder Chairman and Executive Director (DIN 10414713) of BCBRBAB INTERCONTINENTAL TRADING SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED.


He is also Senior Member of IEEE Communication Society and Senior Member of IEEE Computer Society. From 2010 he is working with 500 and above International conferences voluntarily of IEEE, ACM, and other renowned publishers'conferences. This year he is working as reviewer with IEEE ICC'24 - IoTSN Symposium, IEEE WCNC 2024 - Track 1, and IEEE WCNC 2024 - Track 3 and others.
